Know Him? Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At Gas Station, CT State Police Say

Connecticut State Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

The incident took place in New London County around 5 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14 at the Petro Max gas station located at 136 Preston Road in Griswold for a report of an armed robbery.

According to state police, a man dressed in a black sweatshirt, black mask, black gloves, and tan pants entered the Petro Max armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. 

The man obtained a small amount of cash from the register and fled in a gold 4-door sedan, police said.

The suspect is described as being 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds.
